Sports Ad Network Active Athlete Raises Funding

Lifestyle sports ad network Active Athlete Media has raised funding from KPG investors and Alsop Louie Partners, AC reported. The amount was undisclosed.
The company claims to reaching more than 6 million athletes each month through sites like Running Planet, Sports Power, Daily Peloton and Fitness Singles.
Active Athlete is headed by Robert Tas, its CEO. Tas was most recently SVP of Media and Technology at 24/7 Real Media.
