Start-Up Pitch Site Vator.TV Raises Second Angel Round

Vator.TV, the video site for startups to pitch themselves, has raised a second round of angel funding led by Venture Farm LLC. Also participating were Jeff Peterson (QuePasa founder) and past investors Peter Thiel, Richard Rosenblatt (Demand Media), and Georges Harik (formerly of Google). The funding will go towards building out the platform and adding features. Founder Bambi Francisco tells us that the funding round represents a proof of the site’s concept, as it used its own service to attract the fresh investment. You may remeber the site launched with a bit of controversy when its founder, a former MarketWatch reporter, took hits for starting the service while still at the site. Release.
