Stealthy DNA Games Raises $2 Million In Funding

Casual and social game development studio DNA Games has raised $2 million in funding, per an SEC filing. The S.F.-based startup is so stealthy that its website is still under construction, but some digging reveals that it actually raised $1 million worth of the round in early December.

That’s right around the time that DNA Games put out help wanted ads on sites like Mashable and Center Networks in search of a “senior Flash developer.” DNA Games was founded in 2009 by a trio of former execs from SEM firm Bazaar Advertising (which was acquired by AzoogleAds in 2007): Jonathan Lee, Shaun Haase and Timothy Stevens.
