Superfeedr Gets Funding From Mark Cuban And Betaworks

Superfeedr has raised a seed round from real-time incubator and investment firm Betaworks, along with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban; the amount of funding was not disclosed. The company’s product—which is aimed at web developers—is used by subscribers to pull real-time feeds from various content sources; Superfeedr says it can map “any feed”—which could come from a site like Twitter or Flickr—into a standard format “so that you only need to know how to parse one sort of feed no matter where it came from.” The company charges users who track more than 1,000 feeds. ReadWriteWeb says customers include Adobe (NSDQ: ADBE) and Twitterfeed. More in CEO Julien Genestoux’s blog post here.
