Thrillist Buys Men’s Shopping Recommender Jack Threads
In the latest match-up of a media pub and and social shopping, men’s lifestyle e-newsletter Thrillist has purchased casual male apparel recommender Jack Threads, the company said in an e-mail release. Thrillist sees the addition of Jack Threads as a good benefit for subscribers, as well as a way to build revenue. In a statement, Ben Lerer, co-founder and CEO of Thrillist, said, “This is a win-win for Thrillist and JackThreads, and with so much happening in the online commerce space, we feel like our timing is perfect.” Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
