imageTicket sales are now open for our Economics of Health Content Seminar, March 20th at the lovely new TimesCenter in NYC. EconHealth is set against the backdrop of changing economics of the health content market as health information, news and research move online and mobile, and consumer-driven health care becomes a bigger phenomenon. More in extended entry….

To provide a more intimate discussion environment, EconHealth will have a lower ticket cap than our usual conference and mixers…so go ahead and grab them now. The half-day event takes place in the afternoon.

The format is simple: one keynote Q&A and three panels. We’re excited to feature Steve Case as the keynote—the co-founder of AOL (NYSE: TWX) is chairman and CEO of Revolution LLC, parent company of Revolution Health.

Panel topics:
Competition for Attention: Health portals vs Portals with Health vs Oldline Publishers vs Service Providers
Emerging models: search engines, merging medical info with personal medical, ad networks, social media
Deals: Health and wellness media M&A and venture capital investments

Other confirmed speakers include:
Esther Dyson, EDventure
Marjorie Martin, GM-Health, About.com
Chris Schroeder, CEO and president, The HealthCentral Network
Benjamin Wolin, co-founder and CEO, Waterfront Media/EverydayHealth
Dean Stephens, president and COO, Healthline

We’re still refining the program, so send us your suggestions to me at rali AT paidcontent.org. For underwriting, please e-mail our advertising side at advertising AT contentnext.com.
