TV Guide Online’s Greenberg Takes Top Digital Post At Time Inc. Lifestyle Group

Paul Greenberg (image, left) is leaving his job as EVP/GM at TV Guide Online to become digital president of Time (NYSE: TWX) Inc.‘s Lifestyle Group. He’ll start in mid-March and report to Lifestyle Group President Steve Sachs. Time Inc. formed the Lifestyle Group about a year and a half ago during a major reorg that gathered its mag titles into three distinct units, including News and Style & Entertainment. Greenberg replaces Steve Zales, who stepped down from the post in November, a Time Inc. rep said.

Greenberg spent almost four years at TV Guide Online, where he managed the company’s digital media strategy and the separate P&L of TVGuide.com. Before that, he was was a business development exec at digital music company MediaNet.

After beginning his career in radio as a sports reporter, Greenberg shifted gears and worked at MTV Networks (NYSE: VIA) as VP, business operations for MTV.com in 1997. He left the Viacom unit four years later.
