Flip’s new video channels: After shaking up the video camera market with the Flip, Pure Digital is moving into video-sharing with the launch of Flip Channels. The new feature lets Flip owners publish, host and share their videos with a free, personalized channel at FlipShare.com; the company will also release a video-sharing app for the iPhone. Release.

Joost on the PS3: Online video network Joost launched a PS3 version of its service, joining YouTube (and Hulu, through a browser update late last year) as sources of streaming video on the console. The Joost labs version is streamlined so that users can easily navigate content with the PS3 controller; the caveat is that rights restrictions are keeping shows from big companies (Viacom, CBS and Warner Bros.) off Joost’s PS3 app for now.

Watch the Prius Neighborhood at the pump: Outdoor video network Gas Station TV (GSTV) has teamed up with Toyota to launch the Prius Neighborhood, a TV show and website that pulls in viewer-submitted content about local events. People can upload info event details to the site and its linked social network accounts; GSTV will pick specific ones to cover on-air (via the Kelsey Group).
