Video: Interview With Edward Prince Jr, COO of NatGeo Ventures on Company’s Digital Strategy

At the Abu Dhabi Media Summit last week, I ran into Edward M Prince Jr., COO of National Geographic Ventures, the commercial arm of NatGeo, who professed to be a big fan of ours. So lo behold, considering the opportune moment, I did a short interview with him there, on the company’s digital (online, mobile and e-publishing businesses) and M&A strategy. Among the points he mentioned is NatGeo’s hopes on gaming as the next evolution of its content strategy. By the way, the noise in the background are the race cars on the Formula One track that the Yas Island Hotel, the venue for the conference, is built on top of. The video, after the jump…
