VMIX Raises Another $2 Million For White Label Video Service
White label online video platform firm VMIX has raised $2 million in a second round add-on to expand into new markets, including video in the enterprise and non-profit sectors. VMIX’s services—including its customizable video players—are heavily used by media companies, including McClatchy (NYSE: MNI) and Tribune. All four of VMIX’s existing investors—Enterprise Partners, Mission Ventures, JK&B Capital, and ATA Ventures—participated in the funding. “This inside round was agreed on and closed quickly so that our management team can focus on building the business,” said CEO Mike Glickenhaus in a statement. The firm last raised funds two years ago. VMIX will now have raised $23.5 million in funding since 2006. Release.
