Web 2.0 Tech News Site Blognation Gets Funding; Launches

Blognation, an ambitious tech news site meant to chronicle Web 2.0 companies in Europe and Asia, has launched and received an undisclosed amount of venture funding from undisclosed investors. The UK-based company was founded by Sam Sethi, the former editor of TechCrunch UK. The site network and its local country sites will focus on the Web 2.0 scene outside of U.S., in countries like UK, Germany and others to begin with, and will be expanding into Asia soon.
