After a session at our recent Future of Business Media conference, our EVP and co-editor Staci D. Kramer sat down with Michael Wolff, founder of Newser and author of the new Rupert Murdoch book The Man Who Owns The News. They chatted a bit about burn rates (an era ago it was a “point of pride”), how companies feel about them now (“a little sheepish”), and even about the rumored $18 million rate for Tina Brown’s Daily Beast (it’s “preposterous”). Learn more—especially on the Newser model and spending countless hours with Murdoch (the book hadn’t yet been released)—in the full video embedded below. (RSS readers will have to click through).
