iChange—an online community for people who want to lose weight—has raised a first round of funding from Momentum Venture Management, as well as angel investors. The company also named Momentum principal Stuart MacFarlane CEO. Before joining Momentum, MacFarlane was CEO of local search site InsiderPages, which was sold to IAC’s CitySearch. iChange lets users connect with peers dealing with similar weight issues, as well as with professional dietitians and nutritionists.
