We’re Hiring Reporters

Do you break news on important stories? Have insights on those stories that get people talking? Can you juggle deadline reporting/writing with longer-range enterprise pieces?

If the answer is “yes,” we’d like to talk with you. E-mail your resume and some work samples that showcase the above skills to jobs AT paidcontent.org. We’re looking for reporters who spend inordinate amounts of time thinking about the big questions facing media and entertainment companies in the digital age, most notably how they are going to make money.

We’re interested in talking with specialists—reporters who are deep into areas like online video or digital advertising or gaming, or who can pick apart a media company’s balance sheet—as well as generalist media or business reporters who are dogged and enterprising.

A bit about ContentNext Media: We launched the flagship site paidContent in 2002, and have an engaged and high-level audience that’s growing and global and that reads us via the web and our daily newsletters, as well as RSS and social media. Our expanding conference business is another way that we connect with and serve our primary community of executives and dealmakers in media, entertainment, information and technology. Our four sites are paidContent, mocoNews, paidContent:UK and contentSutra. We were acquired by Guardian News & Media (of the UK) in 2008.
