NYC-based Snooth, a site for discovering and buying wine and wine information, has raised a second $1 million round from its angel investors and new international backers. Earlier this year, the company took in $300K from unidentified investors, for a total of $1.3 million raised. The site allows users to search for wines, read and write user reviews, and make purchases from third-party online vendors. Wines can be searched by a number of criteria, including taste, year and varietal. The company says it plans to use the funds for an international expansion and to integrate a backlog of partners into its platform.
