Yahoo Board Agrees to Meet With Microsoft, Time Warner
What did Yahoo’s (NSDQ: YHOO) board do when it met on Friday? Apparently, it agreed to hold more meetings with its prospective suitors. NYT reports that Yahoo will hold further meetings with both AOL (NYSE: TWX) and Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT), as it figures out a path to go down. Meetings with both companies are scheduled for the coming week. Meanwhile, Microsoft’s proposed partnership with News Corp (NYSE: NWS). is still looking an outlier possibility, but of course the events of just this past week busted a lot of folks’ brackets, so to speak.

Even in a Microsoft/Yahoo deal, MSN would likely cease to exist.
