Yahoo Japan Invests $5.2 Million in Travel Info Site

Yahoo Japan is acquiring a 16.5 percent stake in 4travel, a Japanese travel info website , for about 610 million yen (about $5.2 million). This brings 4travel’s parent, Kakaku.com’s share to 73.7 percent, from the earlier 90.2 percent. 4travel is an ad-supported travel site that was founded in 2003. More info here.
