Talk about a comeback…Business.com, the business search engine which was almost dead a couple of years ago, has made a comeback to the point that it has received $10 million in venture funding, from Benchmark Capital.

This new round of funding will “enable Business.com to invest in technology infrastructure, product development, and sales and marketing to meet the growing market demand for its vertical business search capabilities.”

Also read this very interesting interview with Jake Winebaum, CEO, Business.com: :“Focus. Knowing what you do and focusing on just doing that, and doing it well. We should have quit. Like all of our competitors, we should have packed it up. But we were convinced there was a real need for this.”
