Aggregate Knowledge, a Mountain View, CA-based new startup providing content recommendation technologies (similar to what Amazon.com does with collaborative filtering), has received $230,000 in first round funding, according to an SEC filing, picked by PE Week Wire.
The round was led by First Round Capital.
The founder-CEO Paul Martino was founding CTO of Tribe.net. An example of their engine at work is here (Related Events in the right column).
