PlanetOut reported its Q2 earnings last week, and had a loss compared to profits in the quarter year ago. In Q2 06, it reported losses of $0.4 million, compared to net income of $1.0 million for the same quarter a year ago. Total net revenues for Q206 were $16.3 million, a 102% increase from net revenues of $8.1 million for Q205.
Total premium online subscribers declined from 164,000 to 151,000, and the company said it is taking measures,  including product and service enhancements.
