Indie Movie Portal Indplay Receives Investment From Eric Schmidt, Hearst & Others

SF-based inDplay.com, an online, indie media movie directory and global licensing and rights management platform, has received a round of funding from individual investors, notably Eric Schmidt, William Hearst III, Donald Dixon and Rob DeSantis. Financing terms were not disclosed.

inDplay is “creating a secure licensing vehicle that allows buyers of independently produced content to rapidly scale their rights libraries, while enabling sellers to reach new audiences”.
