Industry veteran Kathy Yates, former president and COO of CBSMarketWatch.com, has joined AllBusiness.com as COO, where she’ll be responsible for “forming new partnerships and strengthening the company’s operations.” Prior to MarketWatch, Yates logged time at Knight Ridder as SVP & GM of the San Jose Mercury News and a founder and vp-business development for Knight Ridder Digital. Her resume includes Women.com and board stints on Career Path and Classified Ventures.
AllBusiness.com also has hired Don Kaiser as VP-engineering. Most recently he was director of product development for Adzaar; he was CTO and application architect at DevX, where he worked with Peter Horan, the new AllBusiness.com CEO, then CEO of DevX.
