Lloyd Braun’s Santa Monica kingdom continues to grow. The latest addition to the Yahoo Media Group, Ira Kurgan as chief business officer,  with oversight of all business operations, including business and legal affairs, deal making, partnerships and strategic alliances. Kurgan spent more than 17 years with News Corp.‘s Fox Broadcasting, rising to president of network business operations. He was also on the Revolutions Studios’ advisory board. The experience matches what appear to be Yahoo’s goals of being a big player in the entertainment world; it’s one thing to know how to make tech deals and another to speak Hollywood.
