VNU Business Media’s promotion of Billboard publisher John Kilcullen to president of the Film and Performing Arts Group and Publisher of The Hollywood Reporter comes with a bulging porfolio. He’ll continue to oversee music, literary and jewelry. Other titles include: The Hollywood Reporter ESQ., Back Stage East, Back Stage West, The Hollywood Creative Directory, Billboard, The Bookseller. Robert Krakoff, president and CEO of VNU Business Media, said in a statement that the company hopes he’ll repeat his turnaround performance as publisher of Billboard at The Hollywood Reporter.
He succeeds Tony Uphoff, who joined THR in January but is re-joining CMP as president of the Business Technology Group.
