We posted about a senior citizen MVNO and now another senior citizen focused media venture: Jeff Taylor, the founder of Monster.com, has raised $10 million in venture capital for a new project called Eons, designed to cater to Americans aged 50 or older.

General Catalyst Partners and Sequoia Capital teamed up to provide funding for Eons. Taylor described Eons as a ‘‘media company” but refused to provide details about what features and services it will offer. Not sure if it will an online venture either, but seems likely since the company posted jobs on Monster asking for a software engineer skilled in designing Internet applications, as well as a manager to run an online gaming area on the Eons site.
