Yes, incubators are back again…a new Seattle-based incubator Curious Office Partners, founded in July, is the brainchild of Seattle Sounders soccer team co-owner Adrian Hanauer, and Kelly Smith, founder of digital media startup RocketVox. The firm has made its first investment in an RSS startup called FeedDigest. The investment is small: less than $100K. FeedDigest is a fee republishign and search service, and has about 13,000 subscribers till now, says the story.

Curious has set aside $1 million for investment in seed-stage software and Internet companies, and has also signed on Merrill Brown, editor-in-chief at MSNBC.com from mid-1996 to mid-2002, as an adviser to the firm.
