Our Washington DC mixer tonight was competing with the BET Hip-Hop Awards after party which was supposed to start at our venue right after our mixer ended…that’s the anecdote of the evening. But we rocked the house in our own understated way. The mixer went well, and was a cozy one…we like downtown better, to be honest, compared to doing it out in Tyson Corner as we did last year. I got the news about AOL’s executive change from a text Staci sent…that would explain why some of the top AOL execs who promised to come were missing.
