Our NYC Mixer: Went Very Well

Our blowout NYC mixer went really well…thanks to everyone who showed up. And sorry for the long lines to get in….the building/rooms structure worked against us. We’ll do this again in the fall.
Arthur Sulzberger, Jr, the publisher of The New York Times, was great at the Q&A and everyone seemed to like that part. Donna Bogatin of ZDNet blogged the Q&A here (we may upload a grainy video we have later).
On the mood at the mixer, Jeff thinks it is the bubble coming back, or at least some superficial parts of it: “Those Were the Days, My Friend…. I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles…. and Seems like Old Times….”. Hey, all we did was bring people together…but his point is well taken.
P.S.: We forgot to take pictures…yes, really, forgot. Some other people did and when they upload them to Flickr or anyplace else, we’ll point to them. Meanwhile, Beet.tv has a short interview with Jeff about the mixer, and about how “Small is the New Big”.
