P2P Networking/Search Firm Skyrider Gets $8 Million Funding

Skyrider, a Mountain View, CA based P2P startup, has received $8 million from Sequoia Capital, along with Charles River Ventures. It is developing technology that will be able to search P2P traffic, in order to help media and other companies become more profitable. The service/products will launch in fall.
Om: SkyRider, has developed amongst other things a technology that will allow it to act almost like a bridge between various P2P networks. By doing so, the company is opening up an opportunity for cross platform search - rather better P2P keyword search.
