Product Review Site Wize Gets $4 Million Funding
Wize, a San Mateo, Ca-based product reviews startup, has received $4 million in first round funding, from the Mayfield Fund and Bessemer Venture Partners. The site, founded in 2005, combines expert and user reviews and inserts them into a scoring algorithm to rank products.
Rival site Retrevo received $3.2 million in funding announced earlier this month.
