Reorg At Video Sharing Site Revver: Two Founders Leave, Three Senior Hires

Revver, among the few video sharing sites which seem to have a chance of surviving the YouTube juggernaut, has done a major reorg of its operations: two of the three co-founders departing, reports AdAge. Steven Starr will remain CEO but his co-founders Ian Clarke and Oliver Luckett are leaving, along with several support staff, though a few are staying on in consulting roles, the story says.
That said, three senior execs have also joined recently: Kevin Wells as COO; he was most recently a consultant to commercial aviation tech start-up Naverus; David Armitage, most recently ad director at Edmunds.com, is joining as senior VP-advertising sales, and Angela Gyetvan, a former corporate marketing executive with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, has come in as VP-marketing.
Seems like a VC-forced shuffling of ranks to bring in professional management. Revver, unlike others, pays creators based on views and share of a revenues.
