Retrevo Recieves $3.2 In Venture Capital
Retrevo, a search engine for consumer electronics products, has received $3.2 million in second round funding from Norwest Venture Partners. The Sunnyvale, CA-based company allows consumers to research products before buying them, as well as tips about repair and usage. Chief executive Vipin Jain tells VentureBeat the search engine has had “hundreds of thousands” of users, with searches doubling every several weeks, but stopped short of offering specifics. This round of funding follows less than $1 million last fall that came from Alloy Ventures. Release.
