This Week: In NYC For Media Summit, Dealmakers Conference and Columbia VC Conference

I will be in NYC starting Wednesday this week, for three consecutive conference in three days…first the Digital Hollywood and McGraw-Hill organized Media Summit on Wednesday, where Murdoch and Diller are keynoting, among others. Then on Thursday, I am at DeSilva & Phillips-organize Media Dealmakers Summit, where I will conduct a Q&A session with Tom Phillips, Director of Print Ads at Google. Then on Friday, I will be moderating a session at Columbia Business School Private Equity Conference...the panel is titled “Does Web 2.0 = Bubble 2.0?” and will have the following panelists: Daniel Schultz, Managing Director, Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gotham Ventures; Stuart Ellman, General Partner and Founder, RRE Ventures; Drew Lipsher, Partner, Greycroft Partners; and Douglas McCormick, Venture Partner, Rho Ventures
Our NYC journalist David Kaplan will also cover the Media Summit for the full two days…On Tuesday, David will be at the “Beyond Primetime” conference, which discusses about kids and their media consumption, and the media companies’ responsibilities.
