Time Warner in Prelim Talks On Daily Candy: NYP

Would be a funny scene in the negotiation room: Bob Pittman negotiating wth the TW team to buy his company. Time Inc. has had preliminary discussions to buy Daily Candy - the female-focused e-mail newsletter owned by Bob Pittman, reports NY Post. This seems very early and I bet many others, including possibly Conde Nast, MTV, Yahoo, and AOL, are in the game too…
Pittman bought Daily Candy for $3.5 million, and now is seeking to sell out for close to $100 million, if some half-baked media reports are to be believed.
