TotalVid, a subsidiary of the Weather.com/Weather Channel parent company Landmark Communications, has been launched…the site will offer digital downloads of action and travel sports for playback on users’ PC for 7 days, and users can can also buy DVD or VHS versions of their downloads.
The service is powered by theplatform, a broadband content management, DRM and commerce player… Download rentals are priced at $1.99 to $3.99.
