Virgin Digital Execs Leave To Form Venture Firm Focusing on Digital Media

Two senior execs from Virgin Digital (Virgin’s music service) have left to start up a venture firm called North Venture Partners, focused on launching entertainment and technology lifestyle products. The founders: David Brody, former VP Marketing and Alex Bernstein, formerly Senior VP Corporate & Business Development at Virgin Digital. The other people involved with the venture are here.
LA-based NVP is positioning itself as hybrid venture capital/consulting firm, and besides money will help in business & product strategy, branding & marketing, and sales & business development. The fund amount hasn’t been disclosed yet, and the firm is still looking through some investments.
