Web App Mashup Firm Mashery Gets Seed Funding

Mashery, a web applications mashup startup based in has raised seed financing. The round was led by First Round Capital, along with individual investors, including financier Jeff Clavier. The company intends to create tools and services to make Web and media applications easier to develop and distribute.
Mashery raised an amount somewhere in the “mid-six figures” range, said founder and CEO Oren Michels…Michels previously served as VP of Feedster, the blog search engine. He has a post about the funding on his blog here.
