YellowBrix and FluentMedia Announce Merger

Content licensing rivals YellowBrix and Fluent Media (part of Tribune Media) have announced a merger. The newly merged organization will operate as YellowBrix, and will have its headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fluent Media was launched out of Tribune Media Services in Jan 2002.

The motivation behind the merger: “YellowBrix has a highly flexible and efficient technology platform for aggregating, categorizing and distributing information…FluentMedia has one of the industry’s best collections of premium content, strong editorial expertise and a record of outstanding customer service,” said David Williams, CEO of Tribune Media Services, in a statement.
