Eliza Kern

Eliza, who joined the GigaOM team in May 2012, covers social technology from our San Francisco office, from startups to Twitter and Facebook. She is a recent graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. As editor of the university's digital news service, Eliza devised the editorial strategy, managed the newsroom, and guided the team's public affairs reporting. In the summer of 2010, she launched a nonpartisan political blog to cover a New Hampshire congressional primary, breaking stories there that were picked up by mainstream news outlets.
