I am a journalist and online publisher, writing about technology and digital media since 1995. I joined ContentNext early in 2007 to help launch paidContent:UK.
I wrote multimedia stories and developed interactive TV concepts for BBC News, I was a contributor to Wired News and have written for New Media Investor, NME and Digital Home. I launched one of the UK’s first regional news websites and helped found one of the first national entertainment sites.
I have lectured in online journalism and documented the emerging digital news landscape for publications like Journalism.co.uk. I have developed social media marketing and communications strategies and consultancy for organisations, influencing UK government public policy.
I have moderated and guested on several international conference panels, including planning ContentNext’s EconMusic seminar. I appear as a speaker in media like Time magazine, Los Angeles Business Journal and BBC Radio 4. I’m fascinated by technology culture.
