Lijit, a popular service that lets blogs add search functionality, has raised a $7.1 million third round led by Foundry Group. Boulder, CO-based Lijit, a provider of search tools for blogs, has acquired comment search engine BigSwerve. Lijit, which helps publishers collect stats on how readers use the site, says the acquisition will allow it to mine blog comments for more useful data.
