Mike Nichols, the new general manager of Microsoft’s Live Search, insists that a typical user no longer notices a difference in the results generated by a Google (NSDQ: GOOG), Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) and Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) search. *Microsoft* has launched a new version of its Windows Live service, or whatever it was before (search plus its myriad communication services tacked on), and now it is a full-blown social network, with the idea to integrate all the disparate MSFT online services, as well as allow other third-party services…
