Bollywood Channel Launched On Maxis’ Network By Hungama Mobile
Bollywood content reseller Hungama Mobile has launched a Bollywood channel called “Bollywood Express” on Maxis’ mobile network in Malasia, reports the Economic Times. Content may be dubbed in Tamil or Malayalam for Gulf Countries.
The channel features content like film trailers, songs, live shows and apparently some full movies as well. Who has the patience to watch a full movie on the mobile? I don’t think I do…The channel will be subscription based – monthly, weekly and daily – though the pricing hasn’t been mentioned. Hungama COO Saleem Mobhani says the the company is in talks with mobile operators across the globe, and expects the channel to be on 27 of 30 3G operators by September. A high target indeed.
