Deccan Launches Prepaid Mobile Ticketing
Deccan has launched a mobile booking initiative called m-Fly, which allows users to pay for tickets via their mobile phone, reports India Aviation. The account, however, will have to be a prepaid account, and involves internet and offline components – users will have to register online and top-up their prepaid booking account at one of 35,000 Oxigen Services’ outlets. Too complicated? I’ll be surprised if any retail consumers – as opposed to corporates or travel agents – are going to use this facility; who will want to block up Rs. 2000-4000 in a prepaid account for airline travel.
person not having credit card or is not sure about safety of using credit card on mobile, i guess this is good way out. instead of going to an agent and then those formalities, easy top up of same amt will be convenient.
Challenging role in a startup:
———————————-
We are running www(dot)samfra(dot)com – a local search engine.
We are going to launch a travel portal with great innovations.
We already have some highly experienced people in the team.
But, we need experienced people from travel, web marketing and technical
domains.
If interested or you know someone who can be suitable, send me a mail at
jeet232(at)gmail(dot)com
Even if you are not in above categories, still we can discuss things.
Thanks
