Electronic Arts Signs Up With UTA To Spark Movie, TV Deals
Electronic Arts (NSDQ: ERTS), looking to transfer its video game titles into movie and TV deals, has signed on with Hollywood talent agency UTA. The company said that while it has been able to make the leap into media formats including online, social networks and print pubs, it admitted it needed some help in navigating Hollywood. EA does not know what a good idea is, they just know what ideas they can do that will destroy the value of a franchise/brand so they can maximize their profits in the short-term instead of making quality product to increase profits 10 fold in the long term.
The only reason EA still exist is by buying out so many of their competitors. Currently working on Take2 and Ubisoft, and possible plans of moving on to THQ.
