Glu Mobile Offers To Buy 3D Mobile Gaming Player Superscape For $36 Million
Glu Mobile (NSDQ: GLUU), the only public pure play mobile gaming company in U.S., has been making some mid-sized deals over the last two years, and now is offering to buy UK and US based publisher of 3D mobile games Superscape, in a deal valued at about $36 million, reports WSJ. Superscape, which is traded on LSE in London, put itself up for sale in July 2005, and EA and Jamdat (which is now part of EA) were rumored to have looked at it seriously, but nothing came out of that round of talks.
Glu, based in San Mateo, CA., will pay ten pence in cash for each share of Superscape, a 29 percent premium to Superscape
It will be beneficial for employees of Superscape. Growth chances will get doubled.
Time Crisis 4 is a big disappointment in several ways – frustratingly so, because at moments it shows glimpses of the bullet-ridden thrills of its predecessors
