The campaign is not up to the mark. The way Hutch was launched packed initially with the teaser campaign and post with the great campaign. It connected straightaway with the customer. Vodafone it seems is launched in a littile hurry. But With the capable management team of top professionals In India Asim Ghosh always makes the right move.
Chandan: I would disagree. With the channel block they did, they got the message across pretty well, and quickly. Of course, now I can't get that damn tune out of my head, which is irritating.
Its an overdose of advertising….i guess if they would advertise it even quarter of the times they did now, they wud hv managed to get the message across…
It has now reached a stage where d only thing left is to beg them to stop playing those ads…cmon even UTI got their msg across wit much lesser advertisements….
vodafone is over doing. i am avid hutch (oops! its vodafone now…) subscriber. and i loved those ads from hutch. be it the lovely pug which follows the boy wherever he goes or the cartoon ads where the guy and the gal exchange sms and ring tones . they were all lovely to watch. and these ads were very subtle and eye catching or should i say the "mind share concept" at its best!
what vodafone is doing is simply using muscle power ( or rather money power in a overtly way).have money so flaunt it big way!
of course, vodafone will bring better technology, world class services and innovative Vas services and once again put India firmly on the telecom map of this world, there is no denying that, but they could have done it in much less aggressive way.
nikhil, you forgot to mention that hutch changed colours from red to pink. even cheeka the pug had it on him?
