Online Avatar/Role Playing Site Cartoon Doll Emporium Gets Funding
Cartoon Doll Emporium, an online avatar creation and gaming network for tween girls, has received its first round of funding, from Allen & Co…details were not disclosed, reports Mashable. The site, based in New York City, was launched in January 2006. The site allows kids to create virtual dolls and has dress-up games, quizzes, arcade games, cute picture galleries, music, graphics and contests, among other features.
If they can get funding I don't think the social network bubble has burst. Wonder how many users they have.

Makes sense. They're a niche social network with a ton of traffic and a straight upward traffic trend. Take a look at their Alexa chart.
