Round Up: CSI: Miami Game; VHI Pop Up Videos; Tubes;
– Gameloft and CBS (NYSE: CBS) Mobile have launched a CSI: Miami mobile game, which was developed in concert with Anthony Zuiker, Executive Producer and Creator of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It’s on the portals of the big four US carriers and will expand into 140 countries in coming months, and will be followed up with other games in future years. The game lets players immerse themselves fully in the “CSI: Miami” drama, steppint into the role of lead investigator, collecting evidence at the crime scene and interrogating suspects.
– VH1 has launched the Pop Up Video To Go service on a dedicated section of the VH1 Mobile deck already in carrier portals. The new service will be music videos with graphic factoids running across the screen giving information, trivia and production facts about the video…there’ll be two of these launched every week, with five videos available at any point in time rpeorts RCR News. It will be “a nice mix of music, across genres”.
– Tubes, a service that lets you share stuff on your computer as if it were a website, has launched a mobile version. This will let people work offline and later synchronize with their computer, reports VentureBeat.
