T-Series Gets Interim Stay Order From Delhi High Court Against Santabanta.com
ContentSutra has learned that the Delhi High Court has granted Super Cassette Industries (T-Series) an interim stay order, restraining Indian humor website Santabanta.com from streaming audio and video content from some movies for which T-Series has music rights. The movies in question include Salaam-e-ishq, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd and Shakalaka Boom Boom, among others. T-Series has alleged that Santabanta.com was publishing songs without any authorization from the company. I found a couple of links at Santabanta.com to videos from the movie Shakalaka Boom Boom, and they seem to have been removed.
Readers will recall that earlier Business Standard had published a report that suggested that T-Series had filed a lawsuit against Google in the Delhi High Court. We learned from sources T-Series had sent legal notices to Google regarding the copyright violation, and not filed a lawsuit in the Delhi High Court.
There are other websites that feature content to which T-Series has rights – YouTube still does – so it will be interesting to see whether T-Series goes on some kind of a spree, sending notices to other sites, or waits for a judgment in the case against Santabanta.com.

SANDEEP MEHRA
MEHRA CORP
as long as people like Sandeep Mehra are there who can not appreciate a sincere effort by a rightful content owner to safeguard his interest, internet piracy can never end………
to xyz
what sandeep mehra had said, i support it tooo……..
i think what Sandeep Mehra, wanted to convey is that he wants to aware &/or warn t-series about what is happening on the worldwideweb. It is true that most of the songs of which t-series has copyright are downloaded illegaly from net. Websites like torrent provide a passage to these free downloads, even they allow the users to access a dvd ripped movies and popular video songs…
so it is not possible to sue and warn everybody, also at sometimes, it is not possible to track them down…
also, what about the cases, where t-series itself is violating the copyright laws. There are many cases/incidents where t-series itself is involved in infringement of copyright laws?
Also, i would like to ask you, what about those sites which are displaying a trailer, which intentionally displays that it is released by t-series, are they also against copyright laws? have they violated any copyright law? do they have to take the permission of t-series, everytime they display such trailer????????
do reply me
